What are Wax Melts and What do I do with them?

A wax melt is similar to a candle but without the wick and flame. It is a scented nugget of wax that you can use in an electric wax warmer or with a tealight burner. Wax warmers melt wax at a lower temperature than traditional candles so that the scent lasts longer as you aren't burning the oils out of the wax.

A few types of wax warmers:

1. Select your wax melt, there are a variety of scents to choose from.

2. Put your wax melt in your warmer. Determining how many melts you will use comes down to a few factors: What is the size/area of where you are using your warmer or what is your scent sensitivity? One person may only need/want 2 melts while someone else may need/want 5. And also the fragrance strength, some are bolder than others, such as our "Wake Up". We recommend starting small and adding as needed.

3. Turn on your wax warmer. (Please make sure to follow the instructions that came with it.)

At some point you may think "I am not smelling anything anymore", this could be because your nose has become accustomed to the scent, or it is time to change your wax melt.

4. Remove wax from your warmer (Please use caution if wax is still warm) and clean for the next use. Do not throw your wax in the sink or down the drain.
